The yummiest scrambled eggs in the whole entire world!
by girlinafoodfrenzy
I made the most delicious eggs in the world, truly amazing!!! It’s not my recipe but I tell you what, I sure wish it was! This recipe comes via Jules Clancy @ The Stone Soup, who did a Masterclass with Tetsuya Wakuda (whose restaurant is in the Sanpellegrino World’s Best Top 50) and has generously shared the results.
Recipe here I hope you enjoy as much as I did!!!
Recipe: originally Tetsuya, photo: me!!!

OMG creamed corn? Does that not make it taste corny and odd? Please, do tell me what they were like.
Truly, they were delicious! Don’t forget they have Parmesan & ricotta too (the ricotta) makes the eggs so light and fluffy! But I also know creamed corn isn’t for everyone but I thought these eggs were so tasty!
Well I will definitely try the ricotta! I have a recipe (my mom gave me) that uses ricotta with eggs actually, but have been timid to try it. I think I will now:]
Go for it! The weekend is coming up, perfect for brunch
Hmmm…love it! I love creamed corn and Parmesan cheese. This is wonderful weekend breakfast treat.
Well it comes from the top Japanese chef here in Australia, his restaurant Tetsuya’s is ranked in the Worlds best so it’s wonderful to know great chefs can cook simple dishes like us too
Simple dishes are still my favorite. Less is more when it comes to ingredients too.
These look wonderful! What an interesting recipe, too. I’ll bet they’re delicious!
Hey Laura
thanks for stopping by!
I often feel slightly guilty because I don’t have anything vegan or rarely gluten free/vegetarian but this Sunday I’ll be posting a special one for all the gluten free/vegan/vegetarians/Pescetarians. That recipe comes via my travels to Malaysia eating fantastic street food, so stay tuned!!!
Sounds great! I’ll look forward to it.
I enjoy checking out your non-vegan recipes. They always look wonderful! I get inspired by them…In fact, I just may try to veganize those eggs
Tofu scramble
oh. mah. gawsh. (feigning my best southern accent) truly these look and sound incredible! I wonder how they’d be in quiche form? do you think spinach would taste ok with it? so many ideas! I better go get some eggs!
It’s pretty great! I think spinach would definitely be a healthy/tasty side! I use pan fried prosciutto instead of bacon so I get more crunch factor. Something really tasty about those salty ham flavours & the sweet corn, mmm mm…
Just had these for brunch today and OMG they were great!! super creamy and super delicious, didn’t change a thing! thanks for sharing it
Thanks! I really do wish I could take credit, alas Tetsuya Wakuda is the mastermind. They really are creamy and flavourful from sweetcorn! I need to make this again too
