I had a brilliant time! It was so incredible to have a chef who is so revered talking & interacting with an audience right before you! I’m really inspired by the dedication and ingenuity of this man and I’ll have much more to tell you in a couple of weeks!
As the show is still travelling round Australia and New Zealand I’m loathe to give out spoilers (just in case you’re equally lucky & get to see the show like me!)
Don’t worry, I’ll be writing down any gems from the evening, along with experiments and such that he demonstrated/audience participated in so I (won’t) forget a thing!
One of the other critical things that Heston mentioned, is that he began his food journey back in 1994, that’s a fairly long time till now, it means people that we shouldn’t give up on our dreams! no matter where they might take us or how long it takes to get there.
Until then, I’ll leave you with a recent interview from the Sydney Morning Herald, just in case you want to learn more here The other exciting thing is my sweetie’s starting on solid food tomorrow after his wisdom teeth-op (& he’s definitely over my vegetable purées & mac n cheese) so I’ll be back with a delicious recipe for Oxtail stew tomorrow so we can keep on cooking!!!
