My Top 3! (aka the best & the worst…)
by girlinafoodfrenzy
Hello friends! it’s been a somewhat chaotic week thus far here in the Giaff household. I’ll just add that my current work backstage in costumes and wardrobe sees me chasing after a myriad of characters from Egyptian Slaves, faeries and nuns, to town folk from a village in Sri Lanka. All in a days work? Definitely!
As I’m away from the kitchen a little bit at the moment I just wanted to highlight a few of the most popular hits and recipes here on the blog. Just in case you hadn’t had a chance to check it out! So here they are, the best of the best and I’m going to tag along the least popular recipe, (not because I don’t think it’s good) but because I love all my little food, just the same, enjoy!

1. Looks like there’s a bit of Lamb Lovin’ going on, Sunday Roast, 8hr slow cooked Lamb

2. That Pear Tart! Look mum, it’s famous Surprise!!!

3. Self explanatory! All I can say is Pork Crackle, Snap, Crackle & Pop!
*sniff* This one’s a little late to the party, but I enjoy it all the same…
Beef Bourguignon

They’re all winners. Even the Beef Bourguignon. Love it during the winter time with friends around the table and good red wine.
That’s quite a spectrum of costumes you’re working on there.
Me too, it’s the best comfort food…ever! Re the costumes, I’m lucky they are made. So for me it’s just a matter of organising the frocks for show time in the evening, whew!
All your dishes look so tasty but that pear tart stole my heart… Again
Cheers
Choc Chip Uru
Thanks Uru, that’s too cute!
wow looks fantastic!! loving your blog!
Thank you so much guys!
Love your lamb shots.
Best,
Conor
Thanks Conor, a Sunday roast is our favorite way to while away an afternoon here, particularly in winter too.
We got to see the pear tart again – yippee! Despite not eating meat, I have to admit that you do make it look very appetising. A beautiful little round-up of tastiness. I love the sound of your theatre work, it must be quite odd to come back into the real world after that.
Hi Lorna, I’m glad to hear that even the most dedicated pescetarian would enjoy my ‘meaty’ food snaps. Thrilled that you’d even think they’re appetising. As for the working week I feel like I’m about to enter stage two, juggling home & work doesn’t seem to be enough! Perhaps I’ve enjoyed my 3 week winter school vacation too much, (lol) worked the whole time!
I have the feeling that you are a gal who thrives on keeping busy, I don’t know how you do it all, I’m in awe!
Believe it or not, I’m such a homebody at heart but the feet just keep going! It feels like a while since I had a night off! The pitfalls of shift work as you know, lol
I can imagine you being a homebody because you love to cook and look after your lucky fellah. A night off would be bliss, I’m sure, and I hope you get one soon!
Finally heading home after a busy day, can’t wait to enjoy my (not so secret) treat. Bailey’s & milk on ice, heh! Hope you’re enjoying your day!
Nice!
I’m not sure how I do a 5:35am start but I am very certain there are other readers out there who thrive on early mornings! Lol, I wish I was one of them though.
All such wonderful things!
Thanks again! I was pretty stuck for time that week, nonetheless I still wanted to keep in touch with everyone on the blog
These look amazing! Love your blog and your photos!
