Hello friends, do you remember me?!? I know it’s been a while, a long while! Some weeks ago, I promised I’d be back with more delicious food for your in boxes, stories of what I’ve been up to (etc) and yes, more food frenzy in general. ( I promise it’s definitely coming to you, in the form of this Eggplant salad, with goats cheese!) But first…
I will begin to tell you that there have been some BIG things happening this last month! I feel so excited to share this good news with you! the readers who’ve taken the time to follow and see what this girl has been up too, thank you so very much for that honor!
If you remember at the end of 2012 I had the fortune to design a workshop for The Serpent’s Table with moving stories of Food and Family & more for (Griffin Theatre & Performance 4a)
Well it is my absolute pleasure to announce that I’ll be donning my designers hat again to work with those exceptional chef’s (and storytellers!) for Sydney Festival 2014
As soon as the program is released in late Oct I will send out an alert. Tickets are very limited with a
audience capacity of 30 seats per show! If you’re not following me on Twitter, now would be a great time if you want to stay updated with the latest news on this event.
Secondly, before the end of this year, I’ll also be teaming up with the folk at the Work-Shop to bring you my first workshop (lol!) It’s still in it’s early stages (being devised,) but If you’re in Sydney and you want to swing by and learn a lot more about food, from a home cook-turned all cheffy (culinary school is paying off!) More on how I work as an iPhoneographer and a little videography, social media (mainly Instagram) and more! Please let me know via email and I’ll keep you informed.
Now last and not least, this news I am about to share is relatively new. In fact I wanted to share it with you, here on the blog first. As you know I’ve been madly sharpening my video skills and inundating your inboxes (occasionally) with my foodie films and recipes. Well I am delighted to announce, that I’ve officially teamed up with the A-M-A-Z-I-N-G team at Tastemade as one of their network Partners. That means more recipes, videos & great content for you. More amazing opportunities to learn about this incredibly dynamic company and most importantly, the launch of Girl in a Food Frenzy on YouTube.
