As we move to the lighter weather and sunnier days here in Sydney, I’m automatically enticed by the garden varietals and vegetables popping up at the supermarket, grocers, Chinese markets and more. I don’t know if this is because (I’m still in) holiday mode or because it’s sunnier and Daylight Savings affords me more time to cook and shop, either way…it’s been so lovely.
Another lovely thing which I had the pleasure to re-discover, has been the beautiful fresh greens after a few months of (well loved) comfort food. It thus inspired me to create, this dish based on the art of a garden salad.
I’ve often made mention of the fact, that I consider myself to be a mobile photographer and videographer. Okay I call myself an Instagram addict too, but I know there are more than a few others you out there, who do as well. Indeed, I believe this is one of the greatest things about what I’ve learnt over last couple of years, whilst food blogging, snapping, eating & videoing.
It’s been about snapping and editing on the fly, via my mobile devices and looking at useful ways to integrate those visual cues in a world of Food Lovers & Social Media and more.
So, it’s with a lot of excitement that I can share this link for my first Food lover’s guide to mobile Photography with the creative folk and genius, who are Work-Shop Aus
This workshop is for one night only and happens at the beginning of November. They’ve been really fantastic on the Sydney Scene in facilitating short courses, in so many varied interests. So it goes without saying, that I was thrilled to be asked to come along and have a yarn.
Hope to see you there!!!
