Did you miss me?
Apologies for my absence. If you’ve been following my story here, you might know that we finally welcomed our little bun which I’ve been baking since late last year.
(Here he is, at 1 day old!)
He’s the dearest sweetest little guy, with the funniest little chuckle I’ve ever heard. (Who knew babies could entertain themselves for hours on end, just by laughing away!)
With the big move interstate to Canberra, renovations & finally settling into our home, it was a rather short stint before he arrived.
Nonetheless I’m loving our new lives in Canberra, Australia’s capital city.

Albeit, transitioning into my new role as a stay at home mum has taken some getting used to too. Life with a new baby can be so isolating at times. Whether it’s the sleep deprivation or the fact that my friends & loved ones are more than 3 hrs away interstate.
Or just the newness of it all… He’s just so darn cute though.
Surprisingly (or not,) my salvation has come in the form of social media & the incredible food scene here.
We shared my story, journey & some advice on how I navigate my way through (self taught discovery) of Smartphone Photography and Videography.
Below are some snaps of the launch of EDB15 and the incredible array of #foodporn at The Hamlet in Braddon

Extra thanks to my hand model here, the lovely Anna from ShenANNAgans
Day Two wrapped up with a beautiful communal dinner at A. Baker with seasonal food, boasting a bountiful menu of food & wine grown within the region.
…& then there was the swag…

For now, a big thank you to my new blogging & foodie friends for the amazing welcome!
To my regular foodie friends here, I look forward to hearing what’s been happening in your lives.
I promise to be back soon, as I’m cooking up some tasty ideas for these next upcoming months of holiday food-feasts!
