Need some Halloween recipes to get your spook on? Then look no further than my top three!
We all need a little fun every now & then! I long for three top things to experience one day, in the northern hemisphere.
The first is a genuine, bona fide Hallows Eve, the second a proper Thanksgiving with all the trimmings & last but not least, a very nearly Christmas of exploration in the big apple. That’s with ice skating at Rockefellar plaza, the Christmas toys in all their glory at FAQ Schwartz and I’m sure the list will only get bigger & more epic one day!
Many years ago, a friend in the US told me. That Halloween was the first stop to holidays. Followed next by Thanksgiving and then Christmas of course!
Green Candy apples, that are Ghoulsihly good.
If only we were so lucky here!
Though we don’t get the beautiful tones of autumn and fall (being on our way) to Summer here in Australia. I’m equally thrilled to be welcoming warmer summer days, daylight savings (or should that be unsavings?)
There’s a lot of delight, scouring those Pinterest boards and seeing the amazing creativity our #foodie counterparts have in the North.
I almost liken it to the plethora of Anzac biscuits which pop up in my feed (worldwide,) whenever it Anzac or remembrance day.
Alas, this is candy season, not cookie biscuit season, but with these recipes, I hope they’ll have you inspired to get your spook on!
Need a sweet treat now? Then this Salted Caramel Fudge will do the trick, or treat!
The Spider Bread Hack! Bake him, stuff him, dip him and devour…
Where ever you are in the world, whichever season you celebrate, I hope it’s with loved ones.
As the months slowly wind up and it ticks on to possible new beginnings for next year, I hope there are tasty treats, good conversation, laughs, merriment and a lot of love!
ps, Still looking for inspiration for this year and beyond? Then pop on over to my new friends at The Good Life Project. It’s a new site for women by women and it’s about finding the best you!
